RC reverse circulation drilling rig
Reverse circulation drilling or RC drilling is a drilling method that uses a double walled drill pipe consisting of an outer drill pipe and an inner pipe. These hollow inner tubes allow rock debris to flow continuously and stably back to the ground. Unlike diamond drilling, RC drilling obtains rock debris samples rather than core samples.
The drilling principle is to use a pneumatic hammer to drive a tungsten steel drill bit to break up rock layers. The pneumatic reciprocating piston, repeatedly referred to as a hammer, drives a tungsten steel drill bit, which is used to break hard rocks. When compressed air is blown out, pressure deviation will generate reverse circulation, causing rock debris to enter the inner pipe upwards. When the rock debris reaches the ground, it is connected to the cyclone separator through a hose for sample separation, and then the sample falls into the sample bag from the bottom opening. These sample bags are labeled with the location and depth of the collected samples and can be directly transported to the laboratory for analysis

In addition, the drilling tool has a long advance length, forming a 45-90 degree angle with the ground, and the drilling direction is adjustable, further enhancing its applicability and work efficiency.
